In late 2016, J. Walter Thompson Worldwide's CEO and CCO decided it was time to overhaul the design of the company website to create a more user-friendly, content-rich experience. Simplicity, focus and utility were the guiding principles in the redesign. The new site needed to allow visitors to understand who and where we are, what we have done for our clients and what drives us. The visitors being our clients, career-seekers and JWT employees worldwide. The design challenge was creating several systems that functioned for JWT’s Global content as well as its 200+ offices.

This project was a true network effort. Several JWT offices including Chicago, Germany, London and our New York City based Global office came together to strategize, design and build a website and Content Management System that accommodated our diverse network needs and we could all be proud of. The new JWT.com launched in early 2017.

Following the launch, I was tasked to write a comprehensive guidelines document that would aid in on-boarding our offices in learning how to use the CMS and designing content for the new site.
